I’m Baba Wild, born on November 3, 1996, in Mâcon.

With a speaking pace that’s admittedly a bit annoying to others, I first turned to theater. At that time, I watched a lot of French and American films, as well as documentaries about nature and science. I ended up doing around 10 years of theater until I was 18, when I decided to focus on cinema—an art form that, to me, has no limits.

Since I was a kid, I’ve been musically influenced by my three brothers: two pianists and one guitarist. Naturally, I gravitated toward the guitar at the age of 13. Around the same time, I started experimenting with music software to create my own tracks—although, for about a year, they sounded more like noise than anything else…

Literature? That’s a real love-hate story. One book really put me off reading for a long time. Still, I always liked owning a personal library—filled with books I never actually read. I only read comic books and liturgical texts. Weird, right? It wasn’t until I turned 21 that I rediscovered a love for books, which has become one of the greatest treasures in my life. Since then, I’ve co-written two.

In early 2015, I was lucky enough to meet Mason Ewing, who became a friend and helped me grow my young career. Thanks to him, I’ve had the chance to act in several short and feature films, including some alongside Firmine Richard.
